I’d like to take a moment to reflect back and thank you for your steadfastness, patience, guidance, and enthusiasm along with a “can do” spirit on this leg of our journey together honoring the memory of Jacques. I’m absolutely certain this is exactly what Uncle loved about you the most.

You have seamlessly moved us through sticky situations always striving with a spirit of perseverance and clarity of the highest caliber. If you explained something to me once, you explained it the 100th time with gentleness and compassion.

Jacques and I spoke every single morning and he would say he “found a new home around the corner” and was going to get you to let him in to see it — or he found a home in Hillsborough near here where we live and I had to jump in the car and take a look right then and there. Jacques’ list of must-haves was as big as his personality.

I’ve learned many, many things, and guess that’s the meaning of life. Thank you for being you. Everyone should have a Thomas in their life and I’m honored to have had you on my side if only for a while to be that rock for me when I needed to rest.
